SxC Script for After Effects Stupeflix Convert is a script for Adobe After Effects CS4/CS5 that exports a project into an XML compliant with the Stupeflix API. You can download the latest build in the “Current Build” section below. The script is CS3*, CS4 and CS5 compatible.

General Questions * Does SxC script works with After Effects 7 or earlier ? * No, the SxC script needs After Effects CS3 or newer because of some scripting access issue with text layers in earlier versions. CS3 users are advised to upgrade to CS4 or CS5, and cannot create widgets with text. CS3 support is deprecated in current versions of the script.

SxC, standing for Stupeflix Convert, is the name of our Design Pipeline, bringing the world of Adobe After Effects into Stupeflix. SxC is the bridge that allows you or your creative team to design customized widgets inside your Adobe tools (Photoshop, After Effects) and export it into our XML format. Widgets are the elementary video blocs we use in our API and in our online Studio. Combine several of them to build your custom video.

"API Call is too old" Each call to the API is signed, and the date is part of the query. This is intended to avoid replay attacks (someone saw your request on the network and would like to re-do the same request on another time). So each query is valid for a limited amount of time, typically 15 minutes. You can use you own videos in a Stupeflix XML script. Just add a tag instead of an image tag. Sample XML movie: Audio is enabled by default, and volume is 1.0 . You can skip N seconds, and change the video playing speed too.
